The main question you ask was the title of this post. The simple answer is the true answer; I am not sure. But you want a guess, and I said I would. These are the states I have been asked about where Mitt will have a good showing.
Places Mitt has a real good showing:
Massachusetts
Colorado
Utah
Maybe states:
California
Georgia
Montana
North Dakota
Places I was asked about where Mitt might not have a good night:
Arizona
Arkansas
New Mexico
Connecticut
New York
Delaware
Some of these states are winner take all, some of them are by congressional district. My hope is that Mitt can be competitive when today is over. The conservative base is not interested in putting John McCain out in front, yet the moderate and liberal base is. Remeber something when you go out to vote today; the moderates and independents gave us the Democrat Congress that we dislike so much, do we really want to give them the Presidency too?
The moderates want us to follow like sheep. It's time for the conservatives to stand up for their party. It is time to make a difference and show the false-liberals what this party is really about. We can not blindly follow the liberals into a McCain nomination. The moderates are not the only ones who want you to vote for McCain, the Democrats want you to vote for him too. Do you really want to elect a Democrat? A vote for McCain is a vote for the Democrat presidency.
The true conservative, the one who can lead our country to greatness and save the Republican party is Mitt Romney. There is no close second to Mitt Romney. Today is your day, please send a message to the moderates. Tell them you want the real Republican. Vote Mitt Romney for you future and the future of your children.
Good luck Mitt. We are rooting for you.
